The Walking Base
Before any punch, any kick, any takedown, there's the walk. It's the base underneath all of it, and
almost nobody trains it.
It's free. Three rounds, your stance, any sport.

01 · The Walk
Two People,
Circling
The most fundamental form of fighting is two people circling each other. We begin there, with the walk.
Don't cross your feet. Hold the space.
02 · Directions
Left. Right.
Away. Back.
Run.
From orthodox or southpaw: walk left, walk right, walk away, walk backwards, run away. All of it is stance dependent.
